On a gloriously hot sunny Friday evening there was an excellent attendance at the AGM of the Community Association. Thanks from President Penny Walsh in her opening address and encouragement for more support from those who use the Centre's facilities. This message was continued in the Annual Report presented by Hon Secretary Barrie Penfold who explained how important it was to have good attendance at meetings so that improvements could be made to ensure that the Community Centre provided the very best facilities locally.

Bourne End Community Association’s monthly Table Top Sales are back after their summer break. The first sale is on Sunday 28^th September starting at 9.30am and finishing at around 11.30am. Sales are held every month throught to next April.

Those attending the Community Association's AGM on Thursday 21 May heard that 2008 was a "record" year. All the details are contained in the Annual Report which was given by the Hon Secretary to supporters on the night. Access the report here

Life begins at forty. Well it does for the stage in the Centre Theatre. Forty years on from the first show the combined efforts of Forum Players and the Operatic Society have given the  stage a new lease of life. Goodness knows how many feet have trod those original boards over the years since the community centre opened and people were able to stage shows there.
