Good news issue has all the details of Fun Night as well as a fabulous competition for a meal at the Indian restaurant in The Compleat Angler in Marlow. Videomakers have lots to talk about on page 7 having just finished a fully booked and very successful series of workshops on simple film making. Now they want you to write a script for them!
Quilts galore graced the Community Centre for a regional day organised by the Quilters Guild. A new seat outside Blyton Houses asks if you were a Cub in 1988? There might be a photo of some 30+ year olds in a future issue.

Decades were celebrated on page 17 along with environmental issues on page 25. WI ladies held a fashion show at the Centre and sold all the tickets well in advance. It was a catwalk event and sale. Details are on page 27.

Brownies took a ramble in the twilight for Children-in-Need and crowded onto a new bridge for a picture. They had a great evening. The editor went out in the tug at the Marina for a close look at this old resident.

Past Times takes a good look at Wooburn Green on page 34 while Forum Players introduce some of the stars of their January panto ‘Babes in the Wood’ on page 36. The Community Centre chairman’s challenge is to say if you would be interested in live theatre through the magic of modern technology. Just go to the email address listed on page 37.

Lots more to read in the issue which takes readers into a new year which is number 53 in the Target calendar. Great achievement!
