Wooburn Narkovians Cricket Club thumbnailWooburn Narkovians Cricket Club is looking for people to get involved with the club as match officials (Umpires, Scorers) for the forthcoming league season. The club runs two Saturday league teams and one, occasionally two, Sunday friendly teams as well as a range of youth teams.

No qualifications are necessary but knowledge of the rules of cricket would be required. If appropriate the club would be happy to support umpires through gaining ECB recognised qualifications. The club can arrange payment for 1st XI league games and of course your tea would always be provided!

Wooburn Narkovians play league cricket in the Thames Valley Cricket League. The 1st XI won promotion in 2009 and will be playing division 3 cricket this season, with league fixtures starting in early May. Home games are played on the picturesque Wooburn Park in Wooburn Green, and the majority of away games will only be a short distance from the village.
