Target Magazine October 2016 front page thumbnailAnother packed 40 page issue of your community magazine has more news about WDCs proposals for development on the front page.

Moving away from the planning issues there’s a story about paralympian Naomi Riches MBE on page 9 with great news that she rowed the River Thames from source to estuary in a record breaking time. All in aid of the charity to help anyone afflicted by her sight problems.

There’s news of Fun Night on page 10 and of Halloween on page 11. This is followed by another 60th wedding anniversary on page 12. Then there’s an emerald anniversary on page 15 as the Thursday Club celebrated their 55th year of regular meetings. The cake was superb!

All about bats features on page 17 and Enid Blyton’s birthday is celebrated by the new occupants of Blyton House on the Marlow Road in Bourne End. After years of discussion, planning issues and finally development this McCarthy & Stone housing scheme is now up and running.
